| Brief on Youth Camp Activities |

This article presents the activities organized and knowledge learned from Cambodian youths at the 4th Annual Youth Camp held on 9-13 February 2004 in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It was attended by 200 young people selected from 13 provinces and municipalities of Cambodia. The idea is that youth can learn more by sharing knowledge among them; indeed, the theme of the Camp was Young people together eliminate shyness for better understanding of sexual reproductive health and HIV/AIDS. |

| Health Education through Mass Media |
|
| In Cambodia, youth had the chance to learn ASRH knowledge and improve their skills through listening to the radio, and ask questions in an anonymous way by mail or phone to the radio team. There was also a magazine that completed the radio show. By relating key sexual and reproductive health messages, these media helped many young Cambodian to find a solution to their problems. Chamnan is one of them. |

| Good Will Ambassador |

Chea Samnan, is a very famous person in Cambodia. He is both a karaoke and a movie star, and also a Doctor working for the improvement of reproductive health in his country. As young people as very often influenced by mass media, UNFPA find it interesting to involve a star that may disseminate useful information to young Cambodian, and encourage them to behave in a safer way. This is the true story of Chea Samnan, the Good Will Ambassador. |

| Leng's support group |
|
| This is the story of Leng Sovannara is 24 years old. Together with his friends, Leng formed a support group that gathers when a youth outreach educator comes to the village. They meet under Lengs house, and talk openly about sex, relationships, and related problems on their mind, and the educator helps to answer their questions. This was unthinkable before the RHIYA. |

| Pride to be a peer educator |
|
 |
Peer education was seen as a very effective means to disseminate sexual and reproductive health among youths. Two peer outreach educators explain in this article on what this activity consist in, and how proud they are to be central persons for referral, counselling and provision of information on reproductive health towards the community they live in. |

| RH Related Myths Cleared by SRH Education |
|
| This article comprises a series of traditional myths and beliefs which are really common in Cambodia and that often lead Cambodians in general and youth in particular, to behave in a risky way, to segregate girls, to have unhygienic practices or simply disseminating false information. RHIYA helped Cambodians to give up these unfunded beliefs. |
